- The premier event in the Hertfordshire drinkers calendar - The 2012 St Albans Beer and cider Festival - is back and will be held at the
Alban Arena (Civic Centre, St Albans AL1 3LD) from 11.00am – 11,00pm each day from
Wednesday 26th to Saturday 29th September.
The number of beers on offer literally runs into the hundreds with up to 500 British cask and bottled conditioned beers,
plus foreign beers and ciders and perries on offer to tantalise the taste buds.
- If you're looking for a fun filled day out where you're bound to come away smiling then look no further than the 17th St Albans Beer & Cider Festival.
- We look forward to welcoming back old friends as well as those of you who will be visiting us for the first time.
We hope you’ll be able to pay us more than more visit so that you can enjoy the large selection of beers and ciders available.
- Up to 350 different British real ales will be available to visitors including one off brews, festival specials and a wide selection of
beers from new breweries.
There are now nearly 900 breweries in the UK and we will be show casing a selection of these at the Festival –
Styles will range from Milds and Bitters through old ales, porters and stouts, to barley wines not forgetting speciality wheat beers,
golden beers, real lagers, fruit beers and many others.
Being Hertfordshire's largest beer festival we will, subject to supply, be showcasing beers from all the county's breweries at the
Hertfordshire Bar on the left hand corner of the stage.
- As well as all those beers from Britain there will be many beers from other countries including the Czech Republic, France, Belgium, Netherlands Germany, Australia, USA to name but a few.
- Up to 50 Real Ciders and Perries will also be available.
- There is no better place to find the perfect pint at one of the six bars in Hertfordshire's biggest pub!
- But it's not just about beer – although most of it is! You will be able to enjoy games, the tombola, the team quiz, and breweriana auctions in a lively friendly atmosphere.
Catch up and socialise with friends, unwind after work or just soak up the festival atmosphere.
